Turns out a diesel performance shop replaced the oil pressure sending unit before i bought the truck Appears to be more prevalent twd passenger side of engine It was leaking pretty bad, so got a new one from dealership, when i went to replace it the old one pulled right out, they stripped the cast aluminum threads so im screwed for a bit.
The hex plug you speak of, is the oil pressure regulator for the low pressure oil pump Leaking off oil pan, front of bell housing, and starter The best way to isolate the source of the leak, is to clean off the area around the source of the leak, spray it down with brake parts cleaner so blow it dry

The replacement feed tube is solid. I have an 05 6.0 that has had an oil leak since it had 6500 miles on it My truck has been to the dealership 6 times, yes i said 6 times, they have replaced the rear seal 4 times and replaced the crankshaft cover as well. The oil doesn't blow backwards underneath the truck when driving.the oil leak completely stops
Drove for a bit and stopped Maybe 1 or 2 drips I'm not very familiar with the 6.0, but i looked around the best i could under the hood in the valley/turbo area. After many years of searching for the right excursion 6.0 i finally purchased one
It had a few issues that needed to be addressed as any used powerstroke out there
The man i bought truck from said one if the turbo oil lines was leaking under load I saw a few drips on the ground over last. Have an 07 f250 6.0 that recently stared leaking suddenly Went from leak free to leaking decent sized spots within a month
Has oil on top of the engine valley cant cant tell from where I replaced the turbo drain seal, the oil pressure sensor but it did not fix the issue and i could not. I have a small oil leak on my '05 6.0 Seems to be coming from top rear of engine
